On 9/11, 2001 terrorists took over and flew a plane into the Pentagon, two into the World Trade Center and one which heroic passengers forced down short of its target. This was the scene at the Pentagon a few hours after it was struck... hundreds of emergency personnel and investigators, but nobody left coming out of the wreckage. If not out in the first few minutes, it was not going to happen. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I tried in vain to hide it behind my camera.
